I think it's cool - I have many reasons I want to see Tassie (almost every really interesting history I read of Australia winds up having its best bits there; do some wildlife peeping; bushwalking, etc), but as a horrible procrastinator (I'll tell you about that some other time) it usually takes one over-the-top kick to get me to up and plan a trip. This could be the kick!
There is currently a $89 fare on VA syd/lon arriving 1255..get on fast!
Qantas a lot dearer..
Before the gets out of hand it's:
Launceston and it pronounced Lon-ceston not Lawn-ceston.
Ok I feel better.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
Chickens drink - but they don't pee!
AGE IS ONLY IMPORTANT FOR TWO THINGS - WINE & CHEESE!
I could do that.
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood
Excited about Tassie game as an ex-pat Tasmanian but disapointed it wasn't the originally rumoured trip to Southern Tasmania to play North Melbourne.
Will be our 2nd game at York Park, we lost a "thriller" there in the NAB Cup one year (the game that Roosy was joking about wanting lose...)
Once it is confirmed, I'll be booking flights to Lonnie - my second home, straight away. I went to that disastrous (Eski did his knee) and controversial (don't kick a goal) pre season game in 08. Forget the 8000, it was a full house and Swan fans outnumbered Hawks by a healthy margin. Bring it on!
Satchmo, I wonder if the Hobart Swan fans will remember to discard their scuba tanks this time?
Pay peanuts get monkeys
Always an impressive head count at the games played in Tassie.
I think the MCG may have been a better option considering they have played there lots and we have never played there.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.
