    Jude makes the top 10

    "Jude Bolton - round 3: Sydney Swans 15.11 (101) d. West Coast 13.10 (88) at Patersons Stadium
Bolton's effort to drag the Swans across the line against the Eagles was one of the less glamourous 'games of the season', but certainly as important as any individual contribution in 2011. Bolton recorded a staggering 19 tackles, setting a new League record - surpassing the previous best of 16 held jointly by Brisbane Lion Jared Brennan and Geelong's Jimmy Bartel. He also had 23 disposals and kicked a vital goal, but it was his work-rate and willingness to summon his inner Brett Kirk that made him the most influential player on the ground. The 31-year-old helped inflict what was to be West Coast's only loss on its home ground in 2011, a season in which Patersons Stadium once again became an Eagles fortress."

Now that Kirk has gone, he's our heart and soul. Bless.

I'm more concerned by the fact that three of those performances were against the Swans...

Absolutely! And he can keep on until it's "Jude drools"!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

He epitomises what it is to play AFL and be successful. About two of the performances being against us, both are key forwards who had a day out and I think it still shows a thorn in our side. We still have trouble with Power Forwards (powerful Key Forwards). Reg & Teddy are wonderful but sometimes they encounter a couple of Keys with an extra half foot reach and then are in a bit of trouble.
