MMM = Morton, Moore or Malceski
In: Spang, Mal
Out: Pyke, Parker
Is this the "pick a player to dump" thread? Great idea to take LRT out - then Sam can shoulder the load as FF (against Fletcher) with The Strut, a guy that hasn't played a game this year. And even better idea to dump The Moose to give Mummy a chance to ruck his second game back all alone - it's time for him to toughen up anyway.
And how much cleaner did we look in disposals without Mal turning it over? It certainly turned the spotlight on Macca's dubious effectiveness (though he looked better on TV in replay than he did at the ground).
Don't think so, I agree with the koala, we'll need a smaller replacement. Especially as Zaharakis, Jetta, Davey etal will try to run is off our feet. So if we bring in Spanky it'll need to be at the expense of a tall, LRT or Moose?
PS
It is so weired to to come to work on Monday morning and not find the changes thread at only two pages. I guess the weekends flat track bullying has satified the mouth-frothers.
Loose translation from the Latin is - I am tall, so I hit out.
Hope they don't bring Malceski back. Can't kick like he used to and he's obviously very limited defensively.

Sorry for having a goddamn opinion.
Spangher, IN MY OPINION, offers more up forward that LRT ever could. The forward line is where the game is won. And bringing in Spang will not mean Sam has to 'shoulder the load' as you put it. Have you forgotten TDL, McGlynn, O'Keefe etc. Pyke is also capable of swinging forward as well as playing ruck and is far more athletic than LRT.
My SUGGESTIONS are not about who to 'dump', but rather about having the best team to take on the bombers. LRT played well on the w.e, but as I said I think Spang offers more and he deserves a chance to show his worth as well.
Your reasoning is also off, saying 'dump the moose' and mummy needs to do it alone. Mumford hasn't played a game since round 2, it's not fair to put the load solely on him yet, but Sam has been in every game (regardless of whether he actually 'plays') and of anyone needs to toughen up, it's clearly him.
LRT competed and presented well. However, he had 7 possessions in a 15 goal smashing - I doubt he's the answer up forward against quality opposition.

Wow. There is still LRT bashing after the game he played yesterday.
RWO is unbelievable.
If I sounded offhand it's because I get tired of people suggesting changes that just won't happen. I'd seriously be quite glad if Macca had a game off (and you can go back to speeding Annie) but it won't happen - at least not until he's playing as badly as Mal. (And what are the chance the swap this week is Mal for Parker?) LRT would have to play much worse than he did yesterday for about a month before he's dropped (was this his first game without jaw protection?) so why even suggest it? LRT - 2 goals, 2 goal assists, 71% efficiency from one of our most experienced players. It would make more sense to drop Reid for Spang but that won't happen either for different reasons. The selectors look at overall structure and the long term a lot more than we do. If we drop a tall for a tall I suspect it'll be the Moose with Spang relief rucking and Mummy moving up to do more than 50% of the rucking this week - and Mike can justifiably feel hard done by. But there's a good chance they'll all get another chance with just a straight replacement brought in for Parker.
We're making exactly the same points but for two different people. You say LRT shouldn't be dropped because he played well, but Pyke played a great game also, why should he be the one to go?
I'm saying that Spang should come in for LRT because I think it would help win us the game against the dons. Stranger things have happened, so I guess it's just a wait and see.
