Agree.
Losing hard match fitness would not be a consideration now. The only downside would be if we copped an early injury in the GF and Parks had to come on and play a near full game after a month on the subs bench. Worth the risk because we don't have any standouts for the vest. Please not Morton...
EDIT: Every Thursday has been as frustrating as hell waiting for 6:30 to get the teams. This afternoon will be the worst...
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09
With McGlynn out and Morton's game in Adelaide there is no way know he could be sub. Maybe Jetts??Please not Morton..
You'd think it would have to be one of Parker or Morton.
We need to kick more goals, and we need fresh legs in the midfield at three-quarter time. So Morton plays a full game and Parker has the green vest. Anything else is gambling, IMHO.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Like the game against Adelaide, we have to kick a winning score. We can't defend our way to victory.
That means the most potent forward line possible. Morton did the job against the Crows, and we need to him to do it again tomorrow night.
I just hope Grundy can do the job on Cloke if he gets it.
