I see that the reserves list has been revised and now has all the I/C players included. Maybe a backtrack cover up. At least four will be removed at later stage.

I wouldn't to be honest rest BJ, I would just put him back in the reserves. He's had a great start to his seniors career, but has a lot of developing to do, and his contribution in the last fornight has been neglible really. He certainly isn't going to be in our best 22 (unless more injuries prevail) come finals time.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
Birdy would be unlucky if dropped, but of he's rested, fine. He is a very important part of our team and will be especially so in finals.
After seeing Harry in the Ressies last week I would give him a run. He looked a class above last week and I think he'd be ready to bring in for an extended run anytime. Obviously that'd likely be 2014 but he's ready for more AFL action.
If Craig Bird Keeps getting dropped I want a full list of why...hes up there with one of our best players...Kills me that he gets no street cred.
you know what they say, dirty pants- clean botty
Pretty much agree with this entire post. Lamb over Cunningham based on experience. Agree that Jesse has his work cut out for him, but Longmire said earlier in the week that he is very happy with how the big men are playing together.
A lot will depend on whether we beat Geelong. If we do, that gives Horse room to move on team selections for round 23. If we don't, he can't take any chances.
I'm probably talking loco, but how about Goodes on-ball, keep our big four, Jetta and Rohan on each wing or maybe Rohan in a forward pocket? Pre-injury disasters, Goodes was talking about moving into the midfield. Hawks and Geelong are susceptible to speed, so if Jetta and Rohan can demonstrate fitness and an ability to play, you'd have to seriously consider keeping them both. Thats a big if though.
Beating Geelong is quite important because it gives them room to experiment before the main game. One thing is looking certain though - some players will miss out in the coming month when they don't deserve to. The Swans 'team first' culture will be put to the test.
The reserves list is posted on the NEAFL site

they are playing merry go rounds with the ressies team list. The only players nominated that were originally included in I/C senior list are Harry and BJ. The other 5 removed!! A point I was going to make on Uggs reserves thread (not yet up) about the list is the that it is the first sign of Sam Naismith for our Club. Must have been a long year for him.
