    Best and Fairest predictions 2013

A week to go (I think) until the 2013 Bobby Skilton Medal count. Who do we think will take out this year's medal?

I am tipping a NSW born co-captain to become a dual BS Medallist. But it could be either of them. My tip is Jack from Macca, with JPK third. Hanners' placing is a hard one to pick because his best games were brilliant but he probably had more ordinary games than the other leading contenders.

Best first year player has to be Rampe, notwithstanding the excellent start to Mitchell's career.

Most improved is very hard to pick. Everitt could be in with a shout, given he played the majority of the season. White's half a season may not have been enough. Possibly Parker could take it out, though his improvement came as much from not getting injured and not being confined to the green vest for a large chunk of the season, as he was last year.

    Most Improved : Android

I've changed my mind , not based on reconsidering performances , but on the news of what seems to be White's certain departure.
I wonder when the awards are decided ? And if White has won it already , does the club give itself leeway to change it before Friday?
If he goes , I'd much prefer Andrejs to win it .

BSM : Hanners, just to go for a risk and not zero in on McVeigh as well. I agree he has probably had a too many quiet games but it's hard to tell how the coaches will vote in them sometimes.

    RS : Rampe

Finals : I can't remember if they vote game by game or looking back on all games for this... looking back on all games McVeigh on the back of his SF performance, but if it's voting game by game I don't know he's a complete lock

Most Improved : Jesse or Andrejs

    Clubman : Jude

    Players' Player : Hanners
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I think Ted will poll really well this year. He really lifted a cog in the last third of the season when the team was playing poorly. From memory I dont think we was soundly beaten by anyone through the year - but I stand to be corrected.

Nah, our club has more class than that. Whoever wins wins. We are not like Collingwood who asked Nic not to attend the last B&F there (stuff me, that's beyond rude).
