    Buddy's bomb: how far?

The club rolled out the tape measure to figure the distance.

    Yep, a genuinely big dob.

I can't see the video so be really pleased if someone could let me know the result.

BTW, I'm working in FNQ at present so haven't seen recent games but all recorded at home on my Foxbox. A big days viewing when I get home in a few weeks!

Wow. Thats big off a step. Hell, even off a run up for a drop punt.

I know his form is different from your traditional drop punt (more sideways action). But you'd have to think he'd be a chance to convert to a reasonable punting action to roll the dice in the NFL tryouts? If he could sacrifice some of his distance for more hangtime using that power and timing he has he might get lucky over there.

That's a pretty big kick, I don't recall ever having kicked one from that far myself.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I believe I reached half of that distance once. A fair tail wind that day in under 16's

The 68.8 metres was from where he kicked to the goal line - what about measuring the full distance THE CARRY from foot to landing

I think it landed pretty much on the goal line or just short
