No changes according to 3AW. But why are they only talking about how bad Richmond are? Swannies hardly mentioned.
From the TV Guide
Nice to see the gross inaccuracies aren't confined to the commentaryWith the Tigers clinging to finals hopes and Sydney on a march to the top four, it's a high stakes affair at the MCG. Bruce McAvaney and Dennis Cometti lead the call with commentary from Leigh Matthews
Chillin' with the strange Quarks
Watching the pre-game AFL 'classic' match on Fox - Syd v Rich Rd 7 2012. I keep trying to talk to Benny through the TV to not stretch out so much running!
How to watch whilst the wife hogs the TV for her Raiders?
Might have to examine those nefarious ways that are used for said mentioned club when we can't be bothered to hit up the pub.
We don't have any idea how the team would go without Josh because he never misses. Indeed, he's not missed a game since he joined the club, and is the current "most consecutive games" holder (taking over from Deledio after he missed a few at the start of this season).
No doubt at some point we'll find out how the team goes without JPK (other than when he retires, of course) but I'd rather not do so in a game when we're also missing Hanners and the Mighty Mouse.
Starting to rain at the 'G ????.
Just checked out the Tiger's forum, there isn't a lot of confidence there,
Most positive comment was someone hoping the Swans play to their full strength as it is a good test of where the Tigers really are
Chillin' with the strange Quarks
Eddie Maguire is certainly the master of the misleading spin. He just opened the pre-game show with a whinge about how easy the Swans' run home is because we only play two more games against current top 8 sides. (And yes, he managed to get a COLA and Academy whinge in there too). Of course, he didn't choose to point out that we've already played 7 games against the other top 8 teams, whereas the Pies have played 4. The Pies have 4 more to go, compared to our 2.
Another way of looking at things is that both clubs double up against Hawthorn and Essendon. We then double up against Richmond, GWS (for obvious reasons) and Port. The Pies against Carlton, Adelaide and West Coast. Not really much difference, especially given Richmond were expected to be far better this year than they are. I realise we finished higher last year and hence should have a slightly harder draw. Overall we do, just slightly.
A lot of tape on the boys legs
