Thread: GWS v Swans

Hope The Swans can pull a huge rabbit out the hat this year, but If NicNat stays intact, West Coast will go all the way... Not a very good price at $4.00 , but worth $25 of my hard earned.
But Go Swannies ... You can do it as well ... But against the odds.

We've done it before - we can do it again (although it may require us to play "ugly" footy!!!) Would be rather funny if it was Swans v West Coast in the granny - 10th anniversary of our historic win and all!!

If we don't win the GF then I hope West Coast does (I see them as the only team that can beat Hawthorn at the moment, but that can change). For that matter any team other than Hawthorn gets my support.

I'd prefer Bulldogs, but I'd be happy with Freo if we can't.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

If we don't win it, I'd like to see Freo win it.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I said on a previous post that I would prefer WC to win (only on the premise that I think they are the only team that can beat Hawks at the moment.) My preference would be Freo because they have not won one yet.

This is how it will play out for the top 4.

    1st week

WC will beat Hawks at Subi in a torrid affair.
Swans will upset Freo who are starting to struggle after a good start. Tippet and Buddy kick 5 each.

    2nd week.
Hawks have a real ding-dong game with the tigers. Many sore players, but Hawks win.
    Freo beat whoever.

    3rd week.
Swans rampage over broken Hawks on a glorious night at ANZ.

    GF.
    Freo v Swans.

    Post finals.
    Ban lifted, Dangerfield to Swans.

OMG how good would that be. Sadly can't see POST FINALS happening.

Nah, Dangerfield will end up at the Hawks, don't they get the top trade every year?

I would prefer Carlisle to Dangerfield if we had to pick one name out of all those being thrown up so far.
