Welcome back BJ. Swans to win by 6pts in the "Battle for the spoon" Go Swannies!
I really am hoping for an absolute smashing of Carlton today.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Thanks for starting the thread aardvark
This is the game where we will really see just how badly or not we have fallen. Yes we are 0-5 so the season is basically over as far as reaching finals.
BUT. Thus far we have lost 4 games to teams currently in positions 4, 5, 6 and 7. Then the Collingwood which we should have won expect for the woeful 1st quarter.
So today is the real barometer. Are we a mid table team this year? If so we should confidently beat Carlton. If we don't then are are last years Fremantle
I think I'm more nervous about this game than any other this season! We've got most of our players back (most notable exception being Rampe), time to get a win on the board

A good buddy of mine is rather keen Carlton fan, I lamented to him earlier this week just how frustrating it is to have been going into every game thinking "this is the one where everything will click and then we'll be fine" and then coming out the other side with another loss. His response was along the lines of "you poor thing, imagine doing that for every entire season".

I think it's going to be painfully close, but Swans will win out... by 12

The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.
There's a bit of a whisper Tippett is out. Looks like Talia will play?
