Well could probably put a line through Dawson for the rest of the year. Good ins. Just surprised Foote is emergency. Would like to know who is the travelling emergency as we have a few coming back from injury. It is what it is n we should win tomorrow.

The reserves play in Brisbane on Saturday, so they could conceivably take two down to Geelong and fly them up to Brisbane early Saturday morning to play NEAFL (assuming they aren't needed in the senior team). Indeed, regardless of whether they fly them up to Brisbane, I imagine they will take two emergencies down to Geelong, especially after last week's experience.

That makes more sense. I could have gone and looked up myself who was the other "out" but you've done the work for me and rewarded my laziness.

Did you see any of the emergencies: Foote, Robinson or Aliir?

Poor Dawson. I really wish I knew why he keeps being overlooked.

Do you think we have gone extra tall to try to force them to play Harry Taylor back?

It's hard to understand what Longmire is trying to prove. He's back to his failed 2 ruckmen structure. He's a case study for archaeologists, not football analysts. I understand keeping Hayward in because he simply loves Hayward and we all have our fetishes (sorry for speaking for those without fetishes). So Hayward stays and Dawson rots in the reserves racking every stat imaginable. How he can pick Sinclair over Aliir or Dawson is beyond comprehension, even if it means going back to playing 2 ruckmen. He's a stubborn (not so) old fool. Lucky Geelong are really down in personnel, so we are still in with a good chance to win even with a weaker side than necessary.

He hates making changes. It's effectively just Tippett in for the injured Naismith. All the others are regulars returning from minor injuries.

I'm very surprised they've named Foote as an emergency. He didn't do anything of note last week.

I hope Tippett does well, but admit that I have lost confidence in his ability to see out a game, and - worse - his ability to compete when he's having a poor day.

I, too, am thinking that we can win this, without being overly confident. Good ins and I don't think the boys will be flat, as they seemed to be last week.

I'm a fan of Jake Lloyd and hope he will play a fine game tomorrow.

Essentially, we are picking our best available team - I have no problem with that strategy.

Strange sometimes. They drop Foote and Robinson but they are emergencies. I thought they were ordinary enough last week to be completely omitted.
