AFL warns Swans over runner's actions - AFL.com.au
Despite the AFL admitting in the article that they could probably send out 18 letters of warning a weekend, we appear to be the only club to have received one.

He was fairly blatant watching on replay. A warning was lucky
He's very lucky.
I've seen him get in on the buddy-hugfest after buddy kicks a goal.
Sorry Laids, I love you to death, but run on and run off.
We don't need the unattractive attention.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
I hate the runner. The sooner they get rid of them the better. Or at least limit them to taking out messages between goals and centre bounces, then straight off the ground.
It was interesting to see the headline the Hun here in Victoria used......
"Swans 19th man!"
Nice and negative.....
As soon as the Swans show any signs of threatening to go well into September, the Vict. Media will find something to give us a gee-up about.
If it’s an issue with the whole comp. why wasn’t there just a general memo to all clubs ffs.
Don't think Laidler is an isolated case, just suits the Vicentric media to blow it up. I often see runners filling holes at kick ins, never picked up
Didn't Nick Maxwell cop some stick a couple of years ago when he was the runner for GWS?
Not sure if he received a ban or a fine (if anything).
Ben Waterworth (yes, who?) on the Fox Footy podcast blatantly called the Swans cheats, saying the instruction would have come from the coaches box. I don't know why I keep listening to it, he definitely can't hide his dislike of the Swans.
