If we could sustain that sort of level of effort week in, week out, we would have nothing as supporters to ever complain about.

A lot of pieces to the puzzle to find to build our next team, but by gee there is some good building blocks there.

Did I miss something with KJ? He was lively in the first quarter but virtually didn't add to his stats after that.

Was concussion tested. Passed but could still have affected him?

Much gutsier and tougher ‘do whatever it takes’ without histrionics about the umpiring and go when it’s your turn footy by the Swans.

    Big win.

I was even enjoying the song's banjo solo. And it was nice to hear the dulcet tones of Kenny again.

Fantastic win tonight, showing what a terrific bunch of young competitors we have playing for the red and white. Currently the youngest team in the comp, and I would suggest already ahead of a couple of other “rebuilders”. Dawson/Parker alternating between midfield and forward and a fit Heeney and Papley will be very hard to match up on.

Wow. Really proud of our boys tonight . Effort was supreme , played as a team and fought! For 4 @@@@ing quarters !!! Blakey ! What he could he be ! Anything ! Mccartin ! He could be a nick Riewoldt , hopefully with a better kick ! COR, about time we get to see that , and he made up for the 100m penalty too ! Hayward, Hewitt , Allir ! And Parker finally remembers how to play ! Melican was great too ! This was a great Friday night of footy! Bloods , keep it up , screw the number 1 pick , we don’t need it . Finals next year , easy

Only played 59% game time. Do you have an opinion on what was ailing Reid? I'm guessing that it wasn't a strain. Looked like a cork near the hip?

I’m very proud of the win tonight.

But if Essendon had kicked one more goal, I suspect I’d be reading a very different tone of posts on this thread.
