My lifetime goal is to get to 10,000 posts. Well, I'm in lock down and can't travel, so I might as well throw the kitchen sink at RWO.
You are only 250 posts off 10,000. Markwebbos does that in a month. Easy.
The race to 10,000 posts.
Taking the top 8 posters, it looks a one horse race.
1. Nico 9,752 posts, run rate 100/month = 10,000 in Dec 2020
2. Markwebbos 4,160 posts, runrate 200/month = 10,000 in Dec 2022
3. Ludwig 6,827 posts, run rate 100/month = About December 2022
4. barry 7,076 posts, run rate 70/month = March 2024
5. Melbourne_Blood 3,029 posts, run rate 160/month = 10,000 in Mar 2024
6. mcs 5,549 posts, run rate 80/month = About 2024
7. stevoswan 4,642 posts, run rate 100/month = About 2025
8. 707 4,509 posts, run rate 80/month = About 2025
dejavoodoo44 3,650 posts, run rate 100/month = 10,000 in about 2026
Unless Nico gets hit by a bus, the award is his.
Very interesting race for 2nd. Ludwig has a commanding lead, but Markwebbos travelling at twice his speed. Can he maintain it. Can Ludwig lift his output. Still 2 years to go, a lot can happen. What happens in the off-season. So many questions.
Apologies if I've missed a contender, or if someone already has 10,000.
Not sure anyone would want me to lift my rate to 2,000 a month = 70 a day to try to beat Nico
Barry, if you start a new thread titled The Grand Old Lady Thread, you might be in with a chance to edge out Nico to the 10000 mark. Certainly should be enough to beat out me and Markwebbos.
I reckon you should give it a go man. You've already achieved so much in such a short period of time, 4000+ posts in just
over four years. It's taken me eight years to get to 1,200... a pathetic effort in comparison. The Swans are not in the finals,
so less time wasted actually watching football. You're "working from home" right? The perfect scenario, you'll have a dream
run at the ultimate achievement in football, getting to 10,000 posts on RWO.
I actually didn't mind ANZ Stadium. Couple of good before the game bars outside. I managed to get excellent seats. Also the public transport from Cronulla was excellent. After the first game i went to my son and I asked where do you get the bus to Cronulla. Chap said; "oh you mean the Shire. Just over there." Lucky I knew what the shire was or we could have ended up anywhere.
