Well, I am going to retrace my exact route from last Saturday on the walk to the TAB tomorrow. Historically that
has had a big bearing on the result of Group 1 races. Not sure if I should wear a mask inside the TAB or use their
hand sanitiser this time though. All the regulars looked at me as if I was some complete weirdo for doing that last
week. There is a lot to think about I tell you.
Just checking the GF team selections and noticed Josh Caddy is an emergency for the Tigers. I hadn't noticed he was out of favour and out of the side in recent weeks. Will be a bitter pill to swallow if Richmond win against his old side and he's not out there. Oh well, he's got 2 premiership medals already.....
To start with is two teams who have had success already. Boring.
Then the Tigers are involved and that whiny brat Cochin who initially refused to go in a hub and leave Victoria.
Then its the number of players raided from the northern clubs
Then its the weather forecast of rain.
Then its the stupid bit of MCG turf to appease the little Victorians.
But worst of all, it will be the commentators who manufacture a 'fairytale'. Eg. Doing it for danger. My god!.
Only interest for me is Gary Rohan. Go you ginger speedster.
Seems we don't have a participant in the Grand Final sprint this year.
A large rain band has just moved in over Brisbane. While the Gabba is on the edge of it, at the very least it's going to be soggy and slippery conditions.
If a player did get covid, do you think they would cancel the grand final, or hush it up. Last game of the year and all...
I don't really care who wins but I would like to see Gary Rohan with a premiership medallion (and a good grand final).
Dustin Martin will get Norm Smith if Richmond win. It won't matter how he plays but he will get it. Similarly, Patrick Dangerfield will get it if Geelong win. It won't matter how he plays either.
Tom Lynch will belt someone and be suspended for the first four weeks of next season.
"This is probably the worst year to win a premiership because you can't even run your retail properly."
