After a first few minutes resembling an A league game ( I know it’s wet but come on ) it’s was actually a pretty entertaining first qtr. the Geelong goals were classy, I gave Guthrie no chance from 50 .

Very handy late pressure goal by Duncan. I thought Stewart was excellent in that quarter. I forget; are defenders allowed to win the Norm Smith, or is it just for midfielders, like the Brownlow?
Looked as if Richmond was about to run off with it but a couple from Geelong puts them in front by 1.
I don't particularly like Richmond but they are very good at moving the ball and seem always to have someone ready to take it. Cats look as if they are focussed on banging it forward regardless of where it goes to.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
I really don't understand why players don't take a set shot at goal. When they play on like Miers did they normally miss.
The Geelong forward pressure has been fun to watch.
Listening to the inane commentary once again leaves me feeling slightly nauseous. I sometimes wonder if I am watching the same game
