Four free kicks to Charlie Dixon. Brand the culprit. They gotta coach this out of the boys. Soooo damaging

Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Four of Port's seven goals are from free kicks.

I tend to agree - he’s not Mr reliable in that area that’s for sure.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Disappointing quarter. Dominant everywhere except the scoreboard. Need Errol delivering it inside 50 more often.

His kicking has no penetration and brings the opponent in to the game.

Hewett has done a very good job on Boak. Please dont tackle Powell-Pepper - it is an instant free and stay clear of Dixon - he is a free kick magnet.

He's a protected species. Not all of them were legitimate.

We have to get out of the habit of holding the oppo's guernsey at the wrong time - it's a favourite whistle for any ump.

And see if we can hold a wet ball as well as Port seems to do.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Good game of footy thus far. We just need to do more with our inside 50s and we could go on and win this.

As always, umpiring as inconsistent and baffling - some very soft free kicks both ways so far, with Dixon being a prime benficiary in that quarter.

Lovely to have Errol back - that boot is sweet when he hits it well.

Jmac goes inside and gets a slick clearance with his first touch
