That's great news for us considering we have a couple of their picks.

I believe in a grub flinging contest, at least 50% of the flinging has to be done by the flinger.....in this case, that may be a tough ask.

On my way to the Bulldogs v Geelong game. Will it be #freekickbulldogs again? Looking forward to seeing the treatment Weightman gets from both the umpires and Geelong.

The Suns got the job done against the Crows.

A good weekend of football so far, as far as the results go.

Should I be sympathetic regarding more injuries to an already-bruised West Coast team, or appreciate how they're getting softened up before we meet them in a few weeks?

    They’re not mutually exclusive positions.

I went to the Dogs/Cats game last night. I can't see the Dogs challenging this year. The game changed when the Bont went off and Geelong kicked 2 goals to take the lead. He was on track for BOG when he got what looked like a "corkie". Geelong will again challenge for the flag if they get their midfield back. On the Bont; he gets away with murder. He is given an eternity to dispose of the footy, a luxury not bestowed on anyone else on the ground. By the way the Dogs "throwing" has hit epidemic proportions. Also couldn't believe the number of very obvious frees not paid on a night, with an umpire in close proximity, so the umps didn't cover themselves in glory.

At half time Essendon-North Melbourne, Essendon lead by 2 points.

And at the start of the third, North get a goal in the first minute to take the lead.

This match is going about as I expected, with North having a real go and making a contest of this.

Hate Norf and Essendon but the game is turning into an absolute ripper!

    Match of the year!
