I assume that was the Macrae one?

Much, much better quarter then. Turned it completely around which is a credit to them! That is the standard and we just need to keep it up!

Just as I was about to start making narky comments about the possibility of Buddy playing in the VFL, he does that.

Good second quarter. We stopped their handball running game and our pressure caused them to rush their possessions. They also started fumbling.

Clearances improved and we seemed to have more of the ball. Our pressure inside 50 was good.

    Gulden was impressive yet again.

Entertaining rapid fire game, Gulden has such a mature head and composure .
    Enjoying this.

Hmmm. We're just winning the game AND the free kick count. I shudder to think what the umps will do to us in the second half!

C'mon Bloods! You can do it!!!

Looks to me like we crowded their release runner around the ball. They’re still winning first hands, but the player one out hasn’t had the space they had in the first quarter. And our general pressure and tackling is first rate.

Parker, Ollie and McInerney all very good. And Heeney’s been a handy big body at the contest. Is it McCartin playing predominantly on JUH, or are him and Melican rotating depending on who is playing deeper? They’ve kept him right out of it.

As for Errol, I really don’t know what to say. May the footy gods to be kind to him, as we’ve got a truly special player on our hands.
'Delicious' is a fun word to say

The Dogs have always been a team that HATES pressure! they always have! They go to water, so we need to bring the heat for the entire 2nd half, and we've got this!

They seem to be paying homage to the imminent World Cup. Love it while it’s working.

Some of Blakey’s moves, beelining the ball, have been fantastic.

So happy with the whole team - tackle and pressure and then the goals look after themselves

I thought the same thing! I thought wow they are actually going to pay a throw. I should have known better.
