Secondly, this won't make soccer mainstream, liked the Australian open doesn't make tennis mainstream. More people went to the AFL than all soccer combined this weekend. The men's game between Sydney FC and central coast Mariners had 1000 people, tops.

For Geelong, it's worse - half a game fewer and they don't move, half a game more and they would move up four spots. The draw nullifies their percentage.

I most definitely look at that as two points dropped by us rather than two points salvaged. We were the better team by some margin that night - in all respects other than kicking 5.15.
