I expect a few Melbourne players to be "managed" next week. This is assuming they beat Hawthorn, which isn't assured.

The magnitude of the Lions’ win last night means that they are now on the same percentage (to within one decimal place) as Collingwood. Collingwood are far from certainties to win next week, so that kind of throws a spanner in the works of the idea that Melbourne won’t want to win next week.

Suns playing like they're still angry over the thrashing that they got from Carlton earlier in the season. Carlton playing like they spent a fair chunk of the week, celebrating that they made the finals, before they've actually made the finals. 41-8 at quarter time, and the one Carlton goal, should probably had been disallowed for a blatant push in the back.

Looks like Carlton have made the finals. That's unfortunate.
