edit: and I agree with that crouchy statement. As a matter of fact, I think I alluded to it myself. BT must have been salivating at that match up and the way crouch played. Very disappointing
Hey it was me that mentioned crouchy v ablett. Woo hoo!

    Neutered Cat

So Neutered Cat wants to be a little smarty pants.

Well I would not be bragging about that schmozzle of a game with a couple of p-weak free kicks in front and a non-point deciding the game. if we were so negative who kicked backwards and sideways more? Who took 2 minutes to take every kick?

So go back to your fibro shack, with your kissin' cousins and we'll see who goes best when we face off at a 'real' stadium with 'real' umpires.

Sponsored by a pie company....how appropriate.
Sports do not build character. They reveal it....Heywood Broun

I always turn to the sports pages first, which record people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures......Earl Warren

Geelong may have won the game, but it was a Geelong home game. Home wins mean little; it's away wins that are more significant.

The win means Geelong is best placed to break into the top four, but it's not going to happen. Two wins and percentage is too great a gap to bridge in six weeks, unless Geelong have got a soft draw.

So has Geelong. We should not be critical of the Cats' record in grand finals because ours is similar.
    Geelong - lost last 5 (1967, 1989, 1992, 1994, 1995)
    Swans - lost last 5 (1934, 1935, 1936, 1945, 1996)

No wonder the Geelong supporters are so passionate - they have nothing else in their lives. The place is a whole(sorry Cher) and most of the supporters we saw yesterday looked like inbred halfwits. Thank goodness I sat in the section with just Swans supporters.
