Seeing you're not coaching at Balmain next year. Are you staying on as a player? I imagine it would be a bit tough playing on under your former assistant coach and was wondering if you've spoken to anyone else?

You are supposed to be my manager and telling me what is happening, what's happened to all the negotiating????

Yes I saw the other posting about our new coach and i suppose I have been a bit disappointed the way it has been handled but that's footy and you just forget about it. I am still yet to have a meeting with Balmain to discuss my future at the club as a player and as you said it may be difficult after coaching there for 3 years but they are certainly my first and preferred option. If this doesnt work well then I will consider some of the other options. I have spoken with a few clubs in the SFL but cant say too much. One thing for sure is I will be playing. I have spoken very seriously to St Kevins in Melbourne and have not ruled out that option although it may be hard with my kids plus I just started a new role at the Manly Sea Eagles as there kicking and catching coach.

Anyway if my manager would pull his/her finger out and get me a club so I know what I am doing!!!

I was rewatching the "Sensational Sydney" video the other day and couldn't help but notice Luffy's mullet in the early games. Also noticed that it disappeared mid-season, transforming into pretty much what we see these days (still a tad longer maybe).

Luffy,i appreciate the fact that you didnt have to rubbish Div1 footy like certain others,the day a former AFL player(besides Roycie-SWS) plays in the Div1 comp,ill eat my hat. and i wear sombreros.thanx for showing interest(and getting my hopes up!) and good luck with it.ps-you going to Manly RL means their IQ average lifts 45% with a REAL FOOTBALLER THERE. give em heaps.

I'll never rule out playing in the SFA or whatever they call the leagues these days and the Manly gig is going to be interesting but a good challenge
