Brownlow Medal 3:Jobe Watson (ES) 2:Adam Goodes (SY) 1: Dyson Heppell (ES)

The Swans jumped out of the blocks knowing that this was a critical game to win, kicking the first 3 goals in 15 minutes. But the Bombers rallied at in 1/2 had the lead back, before the Swans took back control of the game to lead by 5, after a couple of late goals to the Bombers. The 3rd quarter was the Bombers quarter and led by 7 at the final change after a late goal from Goodes kept the swans in touch. It was all the swans in the final term as they peppered the goals, before a couple in a row to the bombers tied the game up with 5 minutes to go. 2 behinds were enough for the bombers to gain the lead, before Goodes took a mark with seconds left on the clock for the chance to win the game. Unfortunately the shot missed and teh Bombers won by a point.

Bombers by a point. 3 goals to Reid and Goodes, who also had 29 disposals, and has been in sensational form over th last few weeks.

9-8-1.
