    Eade on Saturday's Game

Some interesting thoughts, especially in regards to matchups. Craig Bolton on Matthew Lloyd will be one to look out for.

I don't like the last line where Rocket tips us by 5 points. He has the worst record of the SMH tipsters, I hope it isn't the kiss of death.

IMO, i think CB is a better matchup on lloyd than what AS is, ie if the NSO game is anything to go by... CB looked a lot more competent and comfortable on lloyd...

Isn't the astrologer doing best in the SMH tips? If not, she should be!!!
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

          Fair call too!

I was in the front row when Shaubes went on Lloydy at NSO and Schaubes was getting brushed very easily. I know he was probably a bit underdone, but...

Has anyone gotten to the bottom of Schaubes' omission from the backline against the Tigers? I actually thought he was starting to show some of his 2000 form and then he pops up on the end of a Sunny pass in our attacking 50! Soooo, I started to wonder, is Roosy a genius for picking The Bolt on Richo as opposed to the more obvious Shaubes?

Matthew Richardson is very mobile and athletic and I suspect Roos thought that Schauble couldn't match that. He must have thought that Bolton giving away height was less of a concern than Schauble giving away mobility. It seems to be a "horses for courses" approach iro match-ups. But Schauble still has an important role to play in a back-line unit short on height. Remember that he did a pretty decent job keeping Lynch relatively under control against Brisbane.
