Is this the face of our full time captain next year?

[Dave]

From the HUN:

"He symbolises the whole group . . . the blood, going off the field, wrapping his head up like an easter egg, putting a helmet on and that's Kirky.

[Rizzo]

I second that motion.

I third the motion. I've said it from day one, the fact he's not our captain allready is criminal. The ONLY good thing to come out of a Hall suspension will be watching Captain blood leading the swans onto the MCG this saturday.

I have moved back & forward with Barry & Kirky.

I'm back with Kirky.

Well, as long as he cleans up first - otherwise he'll scare away the kiddies.

Kirk replaced Wayne Schwass as my favorite player when he retired.

I think the guy should have been captain from round 1 this year.

[S.U.D]

Both have strong cases:

Kirky because he can inspire the team

Baz, to give it to the maggots

[Jeffers1984]

Could we have dual full time captains because i certainly still can't split the two now. (Barry and Kirky).

[treespirit]

Yes.

Would love this. Even if we conformed to AFL convention and made one of them a full time Vice Captain.

It was also Kirk who went up to Nick Davis after he lost his opponent, Geelong's David Johnson in the midfield in their semi-final, and said, `You owe us one' after the Cat kicked a goal to start the last quarter.

Am I the last to hear again?

Changed your favourite style of player too.

A captain who places himself in harms way by throwing his body on the line every time or one who places himself in harms way by punching (no matter how ineffective it was) an opponent.

I know which one I choose.

Barry's had quiet periods before (Scarlet, Glass & Haddrill have all caused him problems) and he's kept playing like a well behaved lad for years. So why smack soeone now? Is the captaincy that big an issue?
