Fair enough. Might have had something to do with their former coach who is also no longer there.

Pennant Hills v North Shore by 10 points - we saw a great game at Gore Hill last week and the Bombers will be keen to capitalise on that as they try to keep their finals hopes alive. But the Demons still need another win to make their position safe and should get over the line here.

Campbelltown v Wollongong by 33 points - The Blues have been the giantkillers of the competition as they continue to surprise all and sundry. It shouldn't be a surprise with their spine. A shock loss to the Lions in round 10 should be avenged - DIGITAL SPORTS AFL SYDNEY MATCH OF THE WEEK.

St George v East Coast Eagles by 40 points - the Eagles have been well below their best but showed signs of a return last week. They'll be far too good for the Dragons, although they wouldn't want to underestimate them based on last week's effort against Wests.

UNSW-ES v Western Suburbs by 2 points - stung by another upset loss to the Blues, I'm backing the Dogs to turn things around and produce their own upset over the Pies. I believe they might be the real deal, but they still need to win a match like this to convince me.

Balmain v Sydney University by 49 points - the Students' finals hopes took a battering in last week's thriller, but they should make short work of the Dockers to keep themselves flickering for another week.
