Its an unfortunate contest to win.
I was definitely tipping with my head, not my heart.

Tom Wills wins again. Tipped the final five in finishing order, and tipped the premiers (slipped at the last hurdle by over-tipping and got the GF combatants wrong. But I didn't ask for that anyway.)

How could no-one else have tipped ECE after the season they were having ? I think we were all in denial.

Sain, Addo, Coonen, Trav Martin and possibly someone else (I know Ben Jones but he played div 1 the other week) all out last week but trained as normal on Tuesday.

Bodes well for div 1 especially with the u19s dropping out and a few played half the year in reserves.

If St George qualify then they are relishing years of finishing 3rd and have the same shot. If North Shore make the grand final, they have already showed twice this season that they can run with East Coast (North shore is the only club to beat every team in the competition this season), they hold the mental edge over east coast at this point if they were to challenge them.
I don't think st George will blow this one against them, yes north shore have beaten east coast a couple of times (although the first time ece had their weakest team for 2 years) but having watched east coast on the weekend and how passionate they were after their win and dominance they displayed over st George I think they wont choke again to north shore at least....if its st George then yes they are in a similar position and with the depth of their midfield then you never know on the day however I just think there back line finds it hard to handle key forwards and that was evident with vlatko being the difference on the weekend

St George deserve to be there they have been looping round for ages, with the players they have recruited and depth they have this year it would be an extreme disappointment if they finish third again, im tipping East coast to take out the flag regardless who they play due to the fact they lost it last year......however I think if st George got there it could be very interesting it seems they have too much depth they don't know who their best team is, they had a fair few changes from what I saw from last week? where was Sain saviour? is he back this week....carries a bit of form against north shore slotting 6 last time they met.

That would mean the Bombers beat the Dragons. If that happens, then I'm predicting a Bombers flag !

    Sounds pretty good to me.

If St George do win the flag looks like I might have picked the right order through finals in terms of who gets knocked out where

"...........Ok Punters, so here's your chance to show how good your forecasting really is....

Give us your prediction as to a Premier Division final five - 1 to 5, and your prediction for premiers.
We can store the predictions in the vault then bring them out at the end of the home and away season.....................
    ."

MRNS, Norris Lurker, and Tom Wills all correctly named the final five, Saviour1 and me did not.

Tom Wills wins the contest for naming the final five, in correct order:-
    ECE
    St George
    Bats
    Norths
    Penno

To be revisited after Grand Final day.............

Check team lists tonight. Offered to take him and his brothers in div 4 this week but has to get to work.

I have doubts about Penno this year after watching their game last week.
Norths are on the rebuild with a few youngsters in the team, they got the jump on Penno n the first quarter, perhaps Penno were a bit complacent.
Penno steadied and came back in the 2nd and 3 rd quarters to level the score (or near enough). It looked like Penno would go on with it and walk all over Norths but Norths came back and with stood anything Penno threw at them and kicked the only two goals of the quarter.
I remember thinking Penno are not a premiership team if they cant go on with it.
