All great news. Getting stronger as the finals approach is a big part of where we want to be. Fingers crossed the list stays reasonably healthy.

All great news. Getting stronger as the finals approach is a big part of where we want to be. Fingers crossed the list stays reasonably healthy.

A healthy list will make all the difference. One more thing: what to do about helping Brodie. McLean offers more with his strong marking whereas Ladhams is a ruckman, so the selectors have a job to do here.

it’s good to know that Hamling can do a job if needed. We defo will need Paps in top form come the finals and I have a question mark about Lloydy, though he’s been trying hard but his best is behind him now.

Kyle bit unlucky as he shown some good signs and his senior exposure will hopefully excel his performance in the VFL.

Need a ruck tandem with Ladhams where Grundys ToG goes down to 70%, like the other tops sides do.

Luke Jacksons form is due to him having a chop out and he can run wherever he wants because the 2nd Ruck is there with 3 fwds.

I'd go Kyle over Cleary and id put Rosas up the ground more in traffic.

I'd also go Mclean over Amartey to bring in Ladhams, Brissy have a Proper Ruck tandem.

Amartey is having an ordinary few weeks, fwds that dont jump at the ball may as well be in the stands.

I agree we should experiment playing Ladhams with Grundy. To do so would mean either McLean or Armatey to make way, as Logan appears to be excelling playing on the wing recently. At least this shows we're willing to experiment players in different positions, which has been largely successful.

My gut feeling is Ladhams will only get games to rest Grundy, as we would've done so already. Not too late of course. We may yet decide to do so to rest Armatey whilst Logan is playing as wingman.

Ditto unexpected TOG for Sheldrick at 56%; only above Kyle at 55%

I suspect that’ll be the story, partly because Cox has shown he likes to play three key defenders and Brisbane rest their rucks forward a lot rather than use the bench. Hence Hamling stays.

I’d love Kyle to get another game but can’t find a way to keep him with Cleary and Rosas playing ahead of the ball. He’s done well and will be back soon.

No Harry C puts pressure on Wicks to play on Cameron, who Harry has been outstanding on in recent years. Wicks has been outstanding offensively the last few weeks but had a few goals kicked on him, so might need to sacrifice a bit of his run to stay tight with Charlie.

I hadn't spotted that TOG% for Clearly, that's pretty impressive- I certainly noticed him more, but I feel like he was like a bull at a gate at every contest which takes pretty impressive stamina for a young guy clocking that much TOG.
