General footy chat Round 22: the other games.

Not exactly a blockbuster to start this round, with the Bulldogs playing North. Though strangely, it was actually worse last season, with the hopeless Essendon having either a Thursday or Friday night game, week after week. Also strangely, I'd probably rather the Bulldogs to win this one, as it just seems to me that North and Clarkson are getting a pass mark for the season, when they've largely just beaten the bottom sides, with a few honourable losses. The only top ten side that they've beaten is Carlton, and that was back in round four, when Carlton were rapidly becoming a joke.

Not sure who I want to win tomorrow between Brisbane and Hawthorn. On one hand, it'd be sort of nice if Brisbane slipped out of the top six, but on the other hand, Hawthorn losing would more or less guarantee us second place.

Definitely want Melbourne to upset Fremantle on Saturday. It might be handy if Fremantle's confidemce took a bit of a hit before the finals, especially at the MCG. Plus Melbourne need to keep winning, to keep Geelong out of the six.

A clash tonight of 2 teams I detest but I must say that my negative feelings about the Poodles are only because of 2016. My hatred of Norf pre-dates that. I, too, would prefer that the Poodles prevail - I don't want to see Norf get some sort of pleasure out of fluking a wildcard spot!!

And the bandaged head made it a little bit better. And perhaps he can teach Larkey how to take set shots. There must be plenty of optimistic North fans, who backed Larkey for the Coleman and who are now going berserk, every time that he decides that he'd rather not take a gettable set shot.

Morris is fun to watch. Certainly is currently carrying the Lions forward line. And I just had to check the stats, to see if Allen is playing.
