    Swans away/heritage jumper

While I love the Swans away/heritage jumper, the current version seems to vary from traditional South Melbourne jumpers which had the V extending all the way to the shoulder and the long sleeve version had red cuffs at the wrists.

The current Swans heritage jumper has the red V falling noticeably short of the shoulder and Jesse and Whicksy are both wearing long sleeve jumpers tonight but the long sleeves are entirely white.

    Any thoughts?

Agree that the Red V should be extended to the shoulders. I have a traditional framed Bob Skilton South Melbourne commerative jumper, where the V extends further into the shoulders

The long sleeve version should also have the red cuffs, but i've noticed other Melbourne clubs have also omitted the coloured cuffs in their long sleeve version (i.e. Richmond).

Not having the red collars is the most noticeable omission for me. I know the extended collars are from a bygone era, but i think it would make enhance the current heritage jumper by including red piping around the collar to match that around the armpits.

I do recall a game in 2009 v Carlton to commerate the100th anniversary of our first VFL premiership, that the red V heritage jumpers that day also had small red collars.
