I hope someone buries Kostanty into the deck though - he is a real little twat and I could see him being an a** about it.
He'll be dumb enough to sledge a player about how they're going in finals, not remembering how Norf are faring.

Pretty sure that Konstanty is out for the rest of the season, with what's listed as an "illness". Haven't bothered trying to find out what the illness is.

          Oh good. Can't stand Kostanty.

I don't think Melican will be in the AFL team as he was omitted 2 weeks ago and then didn't play for the VFL team last weekend. I'd rather give Snell a run as he has skill and needs the confidence. Other than Snell, Id play Cleary, Hannity and Rosas. With Rowbottom back , he will fit into middle with Mills to steer the boys against a group of talented North youngsters

Add Amartey, Edwards and Jmac, subtract Rampe, and this is pretty much our side for next year. It's really not that bad. I think we stand a good chance of making the wildcard round, which would be pretty good given the circumstances.

Not bad at all for the 'new Essendon' eh?

Looking ahead to the finals, Martin Smith of afl.com.au has a stab at our best 23 for finals footy.

Can Swans' season survive? We look at Sydney's best 23 going forward

If the assumption here is that all 5 players leave (which I very much doubt) then, through trading, you can add a number of high draft picks and/or players.

agree with rowie ,gus , cleary and snell with either Harry or T Hanily being the 5th. Malcolm R not playing well enough in reserves or indeed when he has come back in to seniors and suggest wil green needs to be in seconds to at least give them some sort of show particularly is Pete L is not available. Joel H can do a bit of the ruck work to give Brody a rest if he needs it.

Plus we didn't see King this season and hardly saw Hetherton. Both of those could turn out to be useful. And if Medved is still injured when the draft combine is on and he doesn't test, then I think that there's a chance that he slips down to a late draft or rookie selection. Which might end up being a huge bargain.

I'm not convinced by Hanily, I find him pedestrian as small forward.

Rosas has not been playing well, but when he is on he's got elite skills and speed.

                              Worth another go IMO.

Although this probably isn't the game to debut, I would like to see Snell get a go in the seniors. This game is in one way a free hit, so it would nice to have a look at him.

Re Hanily he is only young. But at this point in time I think he is behind Rosas
