Seriously, one of the GREAT wins! The spirit of the Bloods is back!

Ryan O'Keefe on ABC Grandstand said it was one of his proudest moments as a Swan to witness this performance. He said it was up there with the 2003 Qualifying Final win against Port....total underdogs who then triumphed handsomely!

I am so proud to be Swan fan today. Love this (woke LOL) club! Go Bloods!

Hamling must be enjoying having a rest with Gulden, Grundy and Curnow.

They pointed that out on the radio.....Gulden, Grundy, Curnow and Mills plus Hamling on the bench. One of them said "It's like Sesame Street....one of these things is not like the others'. LOL!

Seeing our centre bounce attendees being McLean, Sheldrick, Rowbottom and Serong at times was really worrying but as the game went on it was clear no matter who was playing we believed and were gonna bring the heat and pressure. Absolutely mental win.

How about a shout out to Cox. The hell he must have gone through the past three weeks is something you can’t imagine. To put on a coaching masterclass and get the boys up like that is truly special.

People at the club describe him as a real ‘up’ guy but even that must have been hard. We’ve got a special guy.

Possible, but he seems to be one of those guys that bobs up with a good game 1 in 5 - he competed with real intensity today something you don't normally associate with him

I missed the match but was following the score line and feeling prouder by the minute. Greatest win ever !
To all the players and coaches - kudos to compartmentalise the issues and focus on the game and overcome adversity within the game. What a show of character and prove that we are a united club and a club that has the character that we should all be proud of.

I am unable to even write due to the emotions that I am feeling. Greatest win ever !

Congratulations to all for all the hard work and positivity through the weeks and keeping everyone on the game.

Absolutely. I was going to write that it was a coaching masterclass by Coxy but then forgot to.....probably more so for sheer motivation of the team to perform and prove the doubters wrong....and that, going forward, is hugely encouraging.....and doing it, as you said, after the last few weeks the club has had, is just brilliant.

Hard to see on TV but looked like Campbell and Cootee had a tag team operation going on Zorko, but whoever did the primary job, awesome.

Also want to shout out Kyle. He had a couple of hairy moments but the fact he is obliterated Lohmann, right after obliterating Paul Curtis against Norf. They’re a pair of 40 goal season players. And to think, he’s still working out how to play. We’ve really got one on our hands.

One of our greatest wins. Ever.

That was pure Bloods football. Guts, determination and effort, sprinkled with some very tasty sprinkles on top. We were superb to a man. Brisbane well below their best, but so much of that was because of our effort, our desire, our energy.

It doesn't begin to make up for what those 5 did off the field, or the need for long term effort to begin to heal that hurt. But that football today is what has made us proud of our club for so long.

That was up there with Port in '03, West Coast '06, Adelaide '12 for our greatest wins in week 1 of the final.

There were empty seats that some in the media will jump all over - but I can guarantee it won't be like that in a fortnight.

Whatever happens from here, those boys out there are doing all we can ask - giving it a red hot go. And you never know - that red hot go could take us all somewhere none of us would ever have dared even think 3 weeks ago

Cunningham was frigging sensational down back too. He gets a lot of stick from some, but he was everywhere today. He stood up like nothing else, especially with Mills going down too. Always loved him as a player for his endeavour and effort - a mini LRT (i.e. not the absolute most talented footballer - but someone that has always got everything out of his talent). Deserves huge kudos for a massive game today.
