One of the greatest wins in the club's history and you still had to throw in a negative! Incredible!

And I'm not sure you know the real meaning of "woke."

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, "woke" means aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues, especially issues of racial and social justice.

If our board is woke, I see that as a big plus!

      The oldies were awesome.

The other bloke that had a wobbly start was Logan. Andrews beat him comfortably in the first two or three contests, which made what unfolded from there even better.

I never understood the frustration in here about his trajectory at times. He was basically a 40 goal forward in his fourth year as a young key. What we’re now getting is a smart, skilled, determined footballer who’ll help anchor our forward line for years to come. He completely pantsed the best tall defender of the decade today.

Good investigative work, you should have been called into the Pullman

I was upto speed on the other thread, hence the post

Listening to the game sparingly watched at a footy club, not upto speed enough to post

What amazes me is we have a brand new midfield that is killing it on centre clearances. What we previously thought was that we had the best midfield going around, yet consistently lost the centre clearance count. This new midfield just goes hard at the footy instead of blocking and holding and we are getting multiple clean clearances. Rowbottom, Serong, Sheldrick and Gulden, Campbell with Papley and Dattoli at times.

Sure thing, tell yourself whatever you want to believe. That's up to you.

The rest of us will get on with supporting the team, rather than being so pre-dispositioned to look for the next chance to lay the boot in.

I think there is value to being very consistent with a midfield group, and only adjusting it a little bit. We played a very consistent centre bounce group today and it worked. Expect it'll be the same in a fortnight.

Damian Barrett in yesterday's Sliding Doors segment on the AFL website:

"I still reckon the Swans are capable of a 2026 season finals win. And as unthinkable as this might sound, they are not without a sneaky hope against the Lions at the SCG. "

It's such a misused word largely proving that most who lazily and toxically use it have no idea what it really means.....which actually says more about them than those they attack and demean by using it.
