Well, little Vic worshipped Nick got his long awaited Brownlow.....and probably deserved it. For awhile there it looked like he might be disappointed again as other players just kept nipping at his heels. Then an astounding run of BOG's sealed it.
I see the Swans had the most team votes, 102.....followed by Freo with 100. Then it was a fair gap to the next, Geelong with 87. Brisbane, Hawthorn and Melbourne next with 86 each then Adelaide with 81.
Collingwood got 75 all up so Daicos' 47 was well over half. Carlton pipped them by one with 76. These two were 8th and 9th on the team aggregate list. St Kilda were 10th with 71.
Then the rest with totals in the sixties or less, like West Coast with 31, Essendon with 24 and Richmond with 15. They were the last three on the list. All other teams were somewhere in the 60's.
So well done Swannies, we take out the 'Team Brownlow" for 2026. Yey!
