Interesting take on "Wharfie Time" on the ABC program Offsiders. Commentators on the program suggested that "Wharfie Time" actually galvanised Brisbane. They also said that "Wharfie Time" will now always be associated with losing a Grand Final. Mick Malthouse said it should never have been used away from Fremantle, anyway.

Malthouse is right. it's a home game thing.....and I actually think 'wharfie time' is now dead. For the reasons you described above, it is now a negative, a reminder of failure.

If it does somehow survive, they'll certainly never use it again in a Grand Final.
