And report that Blakeys manager is taking control of this and saying it has to be done today. WTF? Back in your box mate.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Does anyone have a similar view re Josh Goater - 190cm medium intercept defender......played 18 games but has had quite a few injuries in his 4 years or so at Norths after being drafted at pick 22.

Indicated immediately that he wants to join the Hawks who have offered a two year contract but deal not done as yet.

For me Sam Mitchell is making great strides in the Hawks identification of talent and wouldnt sign a nufty for two years

Now that the Blakey trade is heating up ........ should we consider enquiring re Goater as part of the deal especially with Mills missing more of 2027 and if Blakey moves on.

Goater plays a fairly similar role to Mills. Goater plays tall like Sicily ie a strong high mark.
Don't mind this idea. We need a "ready-made" back and this seems like a decent option to pair with the first rounder picks.

            Basically pick 6, next year's 18 and 45

Unless this turn into players, we got screwed, yet again

Depends if we have agreements with using some of those picks

if we do have a couple of few players we have secured pending the trade with Blakey

the trade win or loss will be known more so end of tomorrow if we trade well beyond as at this morning and Blakey

                  Mate that’s not quite right

pick 6, 47 this draft (swapped out our pick 52 to North)

2027 second rounder which is nominal but could be a pick late 30s due to the 6 or so Tassie players in the top25 picks already (Chad was a mid 30s pick)

                  2028 First rounder

                  2028 second rounder also

it truly depends what we have stacked in trades re our window of 2027/28

If I'm recruiting for another club, Swans would always be my first preference....

Nailed by lowly North when we had all the hand...An AA with a 5 year contract. pick 6, 2027 second round (pick in the 30's or 40's),

2028 1st round (also diluted savagely if North finish even mid table)...Pathetic result for Swans

sorry, 2028 12 and 35, should help us in our 2032 Premiership window

I hope these go to secure a player

                          @@@@ trade

We are in our premiership window. We need ready made backs or impact players.

                          Really disappointed with this.

As an aside, whilst Blakey was a great (if not a tad inconsistent player) his off field behaviour and his attitude won't be missed. Last month or two made him look like a wanker with no accountability. Several mates I have close to the club also aren't wrapped with his personality and attitude over the last few years.

                            Sends a clear message

You come for our players you might laugh at how easy it is.

I wonder if anyone else on the list is looking at the Contract Blakey just tore up and the new one he signed

All that aside, he is an AA defender, 5 yr contract and a club had a mega contract at him

                              We got fleeced

what a joke. I thought CK was going to be stronger than this but like last year he roles over. A joke the 2028 first should have been a 2027 (to replace the one traded for CC. Agree clubs must laugh when SS involced in deals, nth laughting all the way to the bank and wanting to use the piskc 1 for next year else where. we need to cruit a better list/trading manager. I'll say s house dealing. Screwed once again. Surely Coxey cant have approved unless there is sonething else in the wings.
