2027 List Management

For some reason I am just not a Bice fan at all so take what I say with a grain of salt but I think we’re stuffed if we think he can play our leading rebounding defender role. Bloke doesn’t tackle and almost every single one of his kicks are turnovers. Made Blakey look elite by foot. I’ve seen snippets of Bice play well but I genuinely think most of the time he’s a hindrance to the team

Like Lloyd, he is a Wingman, get him away from Defence

Is Snell tall enough? We need him to step up, plus 1 more tall for cover. Melican is injury prone and a bit inconsistent when fit and Hamling is only for 1 more year. So we need 1 more good tall to be in the window. Use our pick 6 if we can get a good one, but it may not help for 2027.

Id say he is taller than Rampe

We were calling him Flakey Blakey since the 2024 GF, so I guess now it’s Snakey Flakey Blakey.

I sure hope we arent handing out nicknames based on GF performances

Melican and Snell both 194cm

but don’t stand tall ……. Tend lean forward versus Riak or Edward’s

Harris seems the best pick for us. Hope he is still available. Will be a close one.

Blakey is a unique talent. There's no replacing him. We just need to find a different way of rebounding out of defence. There have been games when Blakey was quiet, but we still rebounded well.

I know that I have made this comment before, but Snell is definitely an AFL player. In my opinion, a better player than Edwards, but Edwards; size pushes him a bit ahead and got the call up first. McCartin, Edwards and Snell will be our tall defenders next year.

Bice finished the season strong and hope he can fill a backline role. I feel we have several options to add to our backline that will give us speed and picking power. Some are young, like Kyle and Bowman. But we have other options as well. It's not clear how it will pan out just yet.

Yes, I was also a bit surprised that Edwards got a call up before Snell, because I thought that Snell's VFL form was generally a bit better. Still, I was very pleased with how Edwards lived up to his potential, especially the way he often spoilt opposition power forwards. Hopefully Snell gets a chance to impress early next season.

Add a tall alongside Edwards and Tom and they both turn into rebounders as well

Love to see Edwards use his boot a bit more going long

Best available, regardless of position, we all remember Denver G Barass, he was so good they went out and recruited 2x KPD

my nightmare I thought DGB was going to be a star watched him at Swans most weeks and he looked like a star, never came its been a common trend with high draft picks used on Key Defenders think someone on BigFooty had a list up

Me too, Snell could aslo play as a 4th taking Rampes role as well I reckon, but happy if we at least try Edwards, McCartin and Snell
