The initial roadside test isn't always accurate. The license could be cancelled by mistake. It could be a different Tom Papley.

Back to focusing on the AFLW side.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Based on Pavs comments after discussion with Paps, I dont think we should be expecting a false positive

“We’re obviously bitterly disappointed that we’re here talking about this today. We’re really disappointed in Tom himself and we voiced that pretty directly to him yesterday,” he said.

The last sentence says to me at least, Pav isnt expecting a False Positive

In terms of the bigger picture, I can’t help but think that Tom Harleys’ time at the helm must have contributed to the current cultural demise. Hard to imagine these behaviours have manifested only in the last 12 months. Just received the club email and look forward to their ongoing updates on the deep dive into what went wrong.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

The same things are happening at all clubs, most just aren't stupid enough to get caught

Did we deep dive the Women's program, a few years back ? Doesn't ring a bell...

They test for a wider array of far more problematic drugs in financially solvent NSW than they do in bones-of-its-financial-arse Victoria where we don’t even test for coke, despite it being the most commonly used social drug.

the fact the test is ringing alarm bells in NSW makes it much more concerning than anything that has happened in Victoria, from both a player health and potential sanction perspective.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form
