I don't agree with violence per se, but sounds like the little @@@@ got what he deserved.

Other witnesses said Brogan was provoked. Michael, a passenger on the flight, said Brogan was tormented by an Adelaide Crows supporter before boarding.

"He was chastising Brogan quite a lot," he said.

"He was giving him a hard time and may have manhandled him."

While Brogan was definitely in the wrong by smacking the guy.

These brave little turds think they can get away with saying anything they like, without fear of retribution and then have a sook when someone takes offence at the abuse they hand out.

In the end, whilst they are AFL footballers, they are also people. If someone called me what he was called, i'd be tempted to take a swing as well... especially if the guy had said/done more than that particular comment, as some 'witnesses' have said.

In the 40s down at the Rocks in Sydney, that would not have held you well, HOWEVER in the spotlight of a reasonable civilized society where the media convict you first, IT DOES.

Dean Bogan lived up to every non-Port Supporter's expectation of that club. If he had his witts and could think on his feet he could have belittled the guy verbally. If DB was a gent, he would have pretended he didn't hear it.

Don't these clubs have goons that could have seen to the guy coping a shepherds pie in the nickers out by the cab rank? I know the Duck has a bloke called Macca that fixes all his logistical problems.
