And if he gives it to those Wet Toast Illegals like the oft repeated photo of last year it will be all the better. -

Saw the full picture today - Mick looks like a 25 yo in the prime of his career not an aging 30 yo crock. Let's cross fingers he stays injury free.Originally posted by BAM_BAM
you should see the picture of him in the tele this morning accompanying the article. He looks phenomenal. the link to the pic is below, although in the paper was a full body shot

It was noticeable in the second half of last year how he was spending more time up the ground instead of just camping in and around the goal square. All due to greater fitness. Now with a pre-season behind him and being fitter than ever, we can look forward to even more of that. The guy has amazing skills and handling, and having him push up to HF/wing at times can only be a huge positive for us.Leave a comment:

Wow, never seen Mick so lean (not for a long while anyway). He looks brilliant and this might mean he's doing more miles on game day when need be, the staple of the Roos game plan.Originally posted by BAM_BAM

I was going to post this article arfter reading it, but got lazy. Thanks to BBB for doing so.
Micky has always been one of my favourite swans. He and Kels used to be my favourite two players, but obviously Micky stands alone now since Kelly retired. The way he manages his body and gets the best out of himself amazes me, and if he didn't have so many injury problems during his career i'm sure he would've come close to winning a Brownlow at some stage.
If he can have another season even similiar to last year, then the other teams SHOULD be scared. He's the epitome of 'silky skills'
