Two weeks is fair, it was stupid and dangerous at the same time. Too bad he didn't have to appear in court anytime soon.

The whole thing should be irrelevent because Kerr shouldn't even be playing this year. He should have been suspended for bringing the game into disrepute for the whole year.

The AFL have been inconsistent this year, like every other year before. I hope they give the Eagles and Kerr a reality check and give the right punishment.

His arms are so short he can't execute a regulation tackle

Will be extremely lucky to get 1-2 weeks. It was a deliberate bumping action against a bloke already down with his head over the ball and the contact was reasonably forceable. At least Kirk has the defence that he was contesting the ball and didn't make contact very hard with Cornes. He has a "clumsy" defence. Can't see what Kerr's might be.

Michael Johnson got four weeks in the pre-season for something no worse than Kerr's actions and he had no prior record. Kerr was suspended for a week last year for missing Mitchell's thigh with a hit so will not only get a loading but also may have carry over points.

Can't see how he'll miss less than 4 weeks, could get more, unless the MRP slows the vision down and determines he didn't actually hit the head.
