Two weeks is fair, it was stupid and dangerous at the same time. Too bad he didn't have to appear in court anytime soon. -
didnt look like there was too much malice in that one, was reckless.
two weeks is probably right. unfortunate, love watching the guy play, gun footy player.Leave a comment:

Mike Sheehan agrees: http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/foo...E19742,00.htmlI'm sure that the AFL are hoping he will be as it would be a massive embarrasment for the game if he were to win the Brownlow this year. http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/foo...E20322,00.htmlLast edited by cruiser; 22 May 2007, 08:24 AM.Leave a comment:

The whole thing should be irrelevent because Kerr shouldn't even be playing this year. He should have been suspended for bringing the game into disrepute for the whole year.Leave a comment:

The AFL have been inconsistent this year, like every other year before. I hope they give the Eagles and Kerr a reality check and give the right punishment.Leave a comment:

Has to be suspended for at least 2 weeks. They (the AFL) want to come down hard on this particular issue. Well let's see how serious they actually are....Leave a comment:

Will be extremely lucky to get 1-2 weeks. It was a deliberate bumping action against a bloke already down with his head over the ball and the contact was reasonably forceable. At least Kirk has the defence that he was contesting the ball and didn't make contact very hard with Cornes. He has a "clumsy" defence. Can't see what Kerr's might be.
Michael Johnson got four weeks in the pre-season for something no worse than Kerr's actions and he had no prior record. Kerr was suspended for a week last year for missing Mitchell's thigh with a hit so will not only get a loading but also may have carry over points.
Can't see how he'll miss less than 4 weeks, could get more, unless the MRP slows the vision down and determines he didn't actually hit the head.Leave a comment:

1 to 2 weeks from what I saw. He appeared to line the guy up pretty well. Still, we'll have to wait to see what the tribunal has to say.
