Sounds like the club is sticking with AFL Canberra.

But AFL development manager David Matthews told The Canberra Times yesterday the Swans reserves side would be free to remain in the ACT league if it wished.

The most likely result from the review is a re-structure for the Victorian clubs, while interstate clubs' arrangements would not change.

Matthews said a national reserves competition was unlikely.

"The idea of a national reserves competition was pretty much rejected on day one of the review, to have young guys flying across Australia every weekend isn't going to meet anyone's needs," Matthews said.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

A 12 team East Coast reserves comp would be great.

The goalscorers don't add up anywhere near 34 goals.

          Matt Davis is alive?!

The mystery of the missing goals has been solved...well partly !!!! Only need to find two more...I have a feeling Doyle had two in the original list

The Swans website has been no help...the Reserves section has reverted to news from last year...apparently we won the Grand Final last year if you didnt already know!!!

          Goal Kickers: S. Phillips 7, E. BARLOW 5, K. Thornton 5, K. JACK 4, M. DAVIS 3, L. VOGELS 3, M. Laidlaw 2, J. MOORE, J. Simpkin, P. FAULKS

Those look more like it. The missing goals were probably from top-ups. I remember at least one top-up goal and highly likely there'd have been another.

Glad to see Doyle's goals have disappeared because had he scored them it would have meant he played but got injured before quarter time (since he wasn't on after I arrived). If he didn't play at all, we can at least hope that he's not injured but was just having the weekend off.

A couple of them were absolute corkers. Was very lively around the goals on Saturday.
