Why can't they ALL be like Goodsey (who probably had a few clangers himself, but they were redeemed).
In case you haven't picked it up yet, Annie doesn't like Nick Davis, but can see this happening.

"If they kick it to him." Is the statement.

    Some team mates ignore him.....

I'm not a Davis lover or hater. He does what I expect from a 3rd forward, kicks about 2 goals a game. I think your comments are not correct if you look at the facts.

It comes down to the midfield, though, really. When the Collingwood backs had the ball they could look up and see several players metres in the clear, our midfielders like to jog near their opponent even when WE have the ball (except Goodes). Schmidt, Buchanan, Moore...these are the types to play the NEW modern game. The inventors of the MEDIUMLY OLD modern game (Adelaide and Sydney) were thrown out today. NO COINCIDENCE.

Somone who wants to be as negative (some may call it realistic) as the thoughts in the original post will always be proved correct......eventually.

As much as I love the little bloke, what could he do that Buchanan couldn't??? Surely Amon was 100%, even if he has been crap???

Michael Voss' comments were spot on... Davo should've been given more time in the midfield.
