In case you haven't picked it up yet, Annie doesn't like Nick Davis, but can see this happening.
"If they kick it to him." Is the statement.
Some team mates ignore him.....
Davis leads up the middle but his team-mates kick to the pockets.....
I'm not a Davis lover or hater. He does what I expect from a 3rd forward, kicks about 2 goals a game. I think your comments are not correct if you look at the facts.
Well I was right...

It comes down to the midfield, though, really. When the Collingwood backs had the ball they could look up and see several players metres in the clear, our midfielders like to jog near their opponent even when WE have the ball (except Goodes). Schmidt, Buchanan, Moore...these are the types to play the NEW modern game. The inventors of the MEDIUMLY OLD modern game (Adelaide and Sydney) were thrown out today. NO COINCIDENCE.Leave a comment:

The defence Davis gets in here is beyond belief. He is beyond @@@@. Has no desire to get the ball, and has no desire to chase his man. Get rid of him because he is a liability. Stop living in the past and move on to someone else who can actually offer us some value up forward. Hall can get lost as well.Leave a comment:

Somone who wants to be as negative (some may call it realistic) as the thoughts in the original post will always be proved correct......eventually.Leave a comment:

the things that killed us were ruckmen not spoiling in the goalsq and defenders who should learn that when in doubt they kick to the wing. game was lost because of our stupidity not their skills nor the umpires who performed appallingly.Leave a comment:

Michael Voss' comments were spot on... Davo should've been given more time in the midfield.Leave a comment:

Davis leads most of the game. And generally he sensibly leads up the middle. They usually look to the pockets.
When he does have position on his opponents and they kick it to him, the idiots kick it to his opponents' side.Leave a comment:

Nor was i, but even on TV you can see they go straight past him atleast 4-5 times a game, probably more. He's our best kick at goal, by a mile, and should be our permanent full-forward.I wasn't at the game, so it's hard to tell what's happening behind the play. I note that they tend not to kick to Davo. Did Davo make himself available to get the ball, or was he just standing around waiting for it? I think he only had about five touches.
Why can't they ALL be like Goodsey (who probably had a few clangers himself, but they were redeemed).Leave a comment:
