Kirk should be stand alone captain in 2008

Goodes is younger, he should be captain as much as I like Kirk.

His onfield leadership in the last 3 weeks has been phenominal and he has clearly put his hand up for the job.

Kirk has what 2 years left in his career? Depending on Roos approach to next year whether he starts hard to rebuild or not, maybe Goodes is the right man now to lead the new young bloods.
