Oh dear god no! Please don't let Capper mark 2 play for us.

Can they make it 30 games as it was traditionally, and we retrospectively get Luke Ball?
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

He's a scholarship player with St Kilda, so cross him off the list.

          Shouldn't father/son overrule that?
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

And that's why the NSW scholarship hurts the Swans more than helps us. We should have first dibs on David Murphy's son under the father-son rule.

Scholarship takes precedence over father-son. I feel this could really hurt us in the future....

                In regards to Langfords son...

Sydney's interest, though, added a pike to the twist in Will's future. Because the rights granted to clubs who invest in the scholarship program take precedence over a father-son claim, which has to be made through the draft system, the thought that Hawthorn could list Will as a father-son selection in the drafts of 2010 or 2011 had to be put aside.

The NSW scholarship scheme is a crock of @@@@! No wonder Andrew Demetriou brought it in, if it is going to hurt us in the future.

Pretty sure Matt May was the 'other' signing nobody could work out.

Here is an article about him.

I saw Jason Ball at Centennial Park yesterday with a what looked like his son (maybe 10 to 12 yo) as well as 2 daughters. Maybe a f/s selection for the future? Or was he perhaps a nephew?

Alas, he would be a F/S for the Eagles. Jason joins a whole host of Swans who just failed to reach the 100 games needed. He played 90, Schneider, Schwass and Plugger 98, Davo 97, Capper 89, Schaubs 88 and Roosy 87

I reckon we'll get the kid on a Scholarship as i'm pretty sure Bally doesn't intend to move back to Perth any time soon with him at Macquarie Bank.

We only have to wait about 17 years for Micky's little boy.
