Gee Veszpremi is good to watch. It looks like he has a way to go fitness wise but he uses the ball beautifully.

Crouch was never named. Davis didn't play, I assume he's still sidelined with the hamstring/back injury. Brennan did something to his wrist in the 3rd quarter but came back and played in the 4th. Faulks and Murphy had a huge head clash in the 2nd quarter, Murphy went on, I think Faulks didn't play much after that.

From what I was told Davis and Crouch didn't play while Brennan got injured. I don't have any other details though.

Good game to watch. Belconnen were very good, pressured the Swans, and worked hard off the ball. Thoroughly deserved their victory.

They show the team list on the scoreboard at half time and full time.

I love his toughness and tiny bit of aggro. His kicking can sometimes be exquisite. But what excites me the most is his vision and ability to create just enough time and space in crowded situations. Watching bits of last night's fizzer I was marvelling (as I am sure others were) on the abilities of Selwood Mk III and in particular his football brain. Fingers crossed that Vez will be able to show similar attributes when he gets his chance at senior level.

I read somewhere that the reserves haven't lost in Sydney for 3 years. Belconnen have that record in their sights.

Obviously depends if he has a photo attached

Usually the top ups don't play in the midfield as we tend to go with our listed midfielders for obvious reasons, so the top-ups sort of fill the holes. He probably plays midfield for Collingullie-Ashmont-Kapooka.

Of course, he could be another Bevo and play midfield, defender, small forward, quarterback, runn...................

Ned Mortimer gets a call up. Yet another rugby league offspring.
Is he a midfielder or defender or both?

Liz, I meant to say when you were speculating on his injuries in the Tuggeranong game in Canberra. We watched the final quarter of that game from just beside the interchange bench as the girls wanted to get some pics as they came on and off. Vespa iced his groin on both sides when he came off with about 15 to go. Had ice packs and wrapped them in big strips of plastic. No problems with thighs or anything, no doubt just get the ice on his problem area once his day is finished.
