Heath's difficulty in breaking a tag is what is preventing him from turning into a superstar. He's still a great player though.
I didn't really rate Rhyce that highly before this year, considering him a just-OK player, but this year he has really played well. Maybe being thrown up as trade bait last year focused his mind or something, but he is playing the best I ever think I've seen him play.
Speculation Only: Didak to Sydney, what do you think?

Heath's a gun but has been tagged out of a lot of games this year. I don't think Malthouse has helped him atall in that regard though.
Don't rate Rhyce.Leave a comment:

Heath Shaw is an absolute gun, while his brother is playing possibly career best footy. I'd have either of them at the Swans happily, if we didn't have so many attacking half back flankers (Heath) and taggers (Rhyce).Leave a comment:

Bear in mind as perhaps the last draft uncompromised by new teams draft concessions, picks will be even more valuable. I would imagine that would put Didak into a double figure draft pick or more probably a player and that pick. When considering trading a first round player (lower than pick 5, say) then the only criteria we need fulfilled is 5 seasons playing whilst being rated in the best ten players at the club. Didak and Kerr would fulfill this, easily...however their clubs would need more than pick 12 (or whatever) that's for sure.
Remember T. Richards = 19, D. Jolly = 15, Cameron Wood = 13.
I would suggest that Didak or Kerr = top ten pick AT Least or top 20 + young player who is in the top 25 (like Schmidt).
We'd have to give up a player we liked, I'd say. Remember these are super reliable (ON-FIELD!!!) All Australian guns.Leave a comment:

All the reason to keep him...from what I hear he is on a sweet long term deal with us anyway. If Currie/White don't come good we'll need Jolly even more so........the irony would be Jolly being an (ala. Jeff White) one man ruck.
We could do with Didak as a player, but I dont even think we would be able to exorcise the dickhead out of him!Leave a comment:

In Honest Alan's case he is something of a gun off the field as well. Although you wouldn't want him riding shotgun as he has a terrible habit of falling asleep in the passenger seat. Recruit at your peril.Leave a comment:

Heard this afternoon that there is a spot at the Canberra Raiders for a half back, as far as I'm aware Dids hasn't wee'd on anyone yet, so that may be an option for him if nothing works out in the AFL.
