I would have been proud, but no prouder than usual.
I expect them to give their all every game.
How can one be proud of what one expects?
To me, the only way people can be proud of the way the Swans played last week is if they think that they are not putting their all in every week.

I'm not proud when one of my kids comes in and tells me that they have made their bed all week.
I may have been nagging them for months to perform this task consistently, and just because they start doing it doesn't make me proud, it makes me happy that they are fulfilling my expectations on them.

Personally...having finally watched the game, I can't see how anyone could not be proud of the team after that effort. But, clearly there are those who take no notice of the process, the progress, the commitment, the skill and the effort and who only focus on the final result.

CTS and others riddle me this...if it were the Swans who had kicked the final point, would you have been proud of them?

Nowadays I almost never watch or listen to a game live "as it happens" as my behaviour cannot cope with it, but I am sure I would have been absolutely gutted had I been watching....no doubt this disappointment may have coloured your feelings.

Would have been nice to see them turn up for 4 quarters last week. They went missing in the third, none the less, it was great effort by the boys and shows that we still have the capacity to match any team, if we play to our best for the whole game. I reckon it's been like that the whole time Roosy has been there, we were just so much better from 03 to 06 it didn't matter we could turn up for half a game and still win, the brisbane game when hally kicked the foal after the siren, seriously we played 30 minutes of footy. Now with a younger list and some experience gone, we need to turn up for every minute, and we then be in the running against anyone

People are allowed to have an opinion mate, doesnt mean the opinion is well thought out or even educated.

This site for some time has had a bad name - very bad for all the negativity thrown towards a team and their supposed supporters. Many won' t post here not because of opinions but the bullying carried out by some here in the inner sanctum who consider themselves to be experts.

The people including myself were expressing their feelings ie they felt proud.
Maybe we are just sick of the negativity that comes from here sometimes... it was refreshing to read positive posts. The person who had a go at those who were negative was having a say, I dont think the others (negative ones) know what its like to have people disagree with them..... and quite frankly Froggie you dont either.

Anyway, last time I id that was in reply to some tool who had posted all the rules I'd broken.
So I went and did the same to them just for the fun of it.
I got only a limited amount of 'taking the piss' out of them by quoting rules, and decided that posting the word *burp* would have probably been more fun.

If you could record a burp and then upload it that would be something to be proud of. And I don't think that it would break any rules either.
