Not sure about Jessie White but Ted did get injured that day. There was a Carlton flog a few rows in front of me that called Ted soft and told him to get up. Of course I went off at him and he was very quick to sit down and shut up ????.

AFAIK he had a training regime in Melbourne to follow. not sure if he trained in Sydney.

There is a lot of hype about Kane Turner (Kangaroos) still being at school and playing AFL.

I seem to remember that Dan was still at school and being flown up from Melb to play (not sure about training).

Did he play only in the pre-season games or did he get games in the home and away season as well?

I think he played the last eight H&A games of the year while still at school and living in Melbourne.
